National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has charged Corps members to meet the expectations of their host communities by contributing positively to the progress and development of the society.
State Coordinator, NYSC, Anambra State, Mrs Blessing Ekene Iruma gave the charge while declaring closed the 2024 Batch B Stream I orientation course at the Nnamdi Azikiwe NYSC Unity Permanent Orientation Camp, Umuawulu/Mbaukwu, Awka South Local Government Area of the State.
She also enjoined them to be guided by the oath of allegiance which they pledged to accept their posting in good faith.
“I wish to remind you of the oath of allegiance you took in which you pledged to accept your posting in good faith,” she said.
The NYSC boss further urged them to integrate into their host communities as soon as they report to their Places of Primary Assignment.
“Identify their felt needs and strive to carry out personal or group community development projects to remedy the situation,” she stressed.
