Federal Lawmaker Empowers 2000 in Anambra Communities

Member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency, Dr Paschal Agbodike has empowered over 2000 constituents with empowerment materials worth millions of naira to make them self-reliant.

The empowerment items include modern laptops with printers, sewing and grinding machines and educational materials.

Others were thousands of bags of rice, Siena buses for security outfit, among others.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Agbodike explained that the gesture was targeted at offering business support and relief to his constituents.

“This is the seventh empowerment programme I’m organizing for people of my constituency.

“This is to compliment efforts of Governor Soludo in developing Anambra State,” he said.

Vice Chairman, All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA), Anambra South Senatorial District, Chief Surplus Ewuzie described the project as mind blowing.

He lauded the benefactor for following footsteps of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Some of the beneficiaries, including Mr Lotanna Agbasiere and Mrs Nkemdilim Okonkwo appreciated the lawmaker for the empowerment.

They promised to put the items received into good use.
