Mrs. Chinaza Odeka, whose intimate video with a married man leaked some days ago, has spoken up.
Chinaza and her lover identified as ‘Ichie’, became a household name in their community in Anambra and later went viral on social media after their intimate video was leaked.
The explicit clip shows Chinaza engaging in oral and full sexual activity with the man.
The scandal led to the Umuada in her lover’s community coming out en masse with a mission to disgrace and curse her publicly, but they were stopped and sent back by the elders of her community.
In an interview in her shop with a content creator and compere, Comrade Umelechi, Chinaza Odeka, opened up about the incident that has thrown her into the limelight across the entire Anambra State and beyond.
While speaking in Igbo, she admitted to being the one in the video but regretted its leakage, saying that it was just something taken at the spur of the moment for the enjoyment of herself and her lover.
She said it was never meant to be made available to members of the public, stressing that its leakage had caused her and her family untold hardship and ridicule.
When questioned on why she had an affair with another man when she was married, she responded that her marriage was virtually non-existent, as her husband was irresponsible.
“Since I entered this marriage, I’ve never had peace of mind. I’m only staying in it to raise my children,” she was quoted as saying.
According to her, her husband continuously accused her of sleeping around with no evidence and would come to her shop where she sells food stuff to beat her.
On the issue of shame and opprobrium that the leak has caused, she said there was nothing that could be done about that, even as she accused some of her accusers of hypocrisy.
She said: “All these people criticising the s3x video, I’m sure many married women are doing the same thing, just that my own happened to leak.”
