Peter Obi, Senators Nwoye, Umeh storms Onitsha for LP Guber campaign Flagoff.
The National leader of Labor Party, and Former Governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi has confirmed that he will contest the 2027 Presidential election with every serious intent.
He stated this in Onitsha during the Official Flag Off of Labour Party Campaign for the November 8 2025 Governship election in Anambra state.
According to Mr Obi, he still remains a member of Labour Party and in full support of George Moughalu for the Governorship position in Anambra state for the 2025 election.
According to Obi, he remains a member of the Party even though they are part of the ADC coalition being mold for the 2027 Presidential election in Nigeria.
The 2023 Labour Party Presidential candidate who noted that governance is about compassion and caring for the less person’s in the society said Government should be responsible for a working society.
While presenting the Flag to the Governorship Candidate and his Deputy, Mr Obi said the Labour Party have an unbeatable and reliable Candidate to beat in the November 8 election.
Adressing the people,, Dr George Moughalu promised that if elected alongside his Deputy Mrs Ifeoma Okaro , they will serve the people with the fear of God and with every sense of dedication to development.
According to Moughalu, when he becomes the Governor, he will fix Agriculture, Education, reposition the Health sector and Security as well as do justice to human capital development.
The Senator representing Anambra Central , Chief Victor Umeh and his Anambra North Senatorial counterpart, Mr Tony Nwoye encouraged the Gubernatorial Candidate to ensure issue based campaign throughout the electioneering period, describing him as the best person to reposition the state for the overall good of the people.
Earlier , the Chairman of Labour Party in Anambra state who was represented by Venerable Chris Orajekwe said It is time to shake Anambra state with a credible candidate.
He noted that Anambra does not belong to any individual and that henceforth the state will become a Labour Party state.
According to him, LP now has serious structure and will deliver the state from the hands of SASA , one of the oitfits created by the present administration to molest citizens in the name of tax collection.
The representative of the state Chairman blaimed the insecurity situation in the state on what he called the lackadaisical attitude of the present administration in the area.
