Nigeria’s Former Minister of Aviation,Osita Chidoka, has paid tribute to the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, calling for reflection, unity, and higher standards in leadership.

In a press statement released today, Chidoka noted that despite never meeting President Buhari personally, he was the one he most consistently and publicly criticized due to his conviction that Nigeria’s vast potential demands the highest standards of leadership.

“As a nation, we should reflect on his chapter as a cautionary tale in our collective journey and continue to build a Nigeria that learns from every season, striving always towards unity, justice, and prosperity for all,” Chidoka stated.

While acknowledging the complexities of Buhari’s presidency, Chidoka emphasized the need for Nigerians to demand more from their leaders and work towards rebuilding and lifting the nation to its full potential.

“I remain an unshaken believer in Nigeria’s resilience and promise,” Chidoka said, praying for forgiveness, peace, and mercy for the departed leader.
