The Chief Executive Officer of the South East Development Commission, Mr Mark Okoye II, paid a courtesy visit to the Anambra State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Chief Tonycollins Nwabunwanne.

The visit at the commissioner’s office provided opportunity for discussions on critical developmental projects required across Anambra West Local Government Area and Anambra State at large.

Chief Nwabunwanne presented major projects from Anambra West Local Government Area requiring urgent attention from the commission. The commissioner outlined priority areas where intervention from the South East Development Commission would significantly impact residents’ lives in affected communities.

The meeting focused on identifying synergies between the state government’s developmental agenda and the commission’s mandate to accelerate infrastructure development and socio-economic growth across the South East region.

The visit underscores the growing partnership between federal agencies and state governments in addressing infrastructural deficits and promoting sustainable development across the region.

Details on specific projects discussed are expected following comprehensive assessments by the commission’s technical team.
