The Nigeria Police Force has declared six residents of Anambra State wanted over their alleged involvement in a string of criminal offences, including criminal conspiracy, cyberstalking, criminal defamation and conduct capable of breaching public peace.

The declaration was made by the Force Headquarters, Abuja, through a Special Police Gazette Bulletin issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Monitoring Unit, and subsequently published on the official social media platforms of the Nigeria Police Force.

The six wanted persons were identified as Emmanuel C. Osinem, Chibuike Kingsley Okoye, Obiechine Patrick Agu, Emmanuel Ikechukwu Aguh, Obiora Samuel Onya and Ikechukwu Emeka Onyia, also known as “Movement.” Police records indicate that the suspects are all from Isiakpu Village, Nise, in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, which was listed as their last known address.

According to the Police Gazette, the suspects are being sought by the Monitoring Unit of the Force Headquarters over allegations bordering on criminal conspiracy to commit felony, threatening violence, criminal defamation, cyberstalking, criminal trespass, incitement and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.

Although the Force Headquarters did not disclose details of the specific incident that gave rise to the charges, it urged members of the public to assist security agencies with credible information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.

The Police further directed that anyone who sights any of the wanted persons should immediately alert the nearest police station or report to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Monitoring Unit, Force Headquarters, Abuja. The Force also provided a dedicated telephone line (08038486278) for useful information, assuring that identities of informants would be treated with strict confidentiality.

“If seen arrest and hand over to the nearest police station or office of the Deputy Commissioner Of Police, Police Monitoring Unit, Force Headquarters, Abuja or call 08038486278,” the police said.
