Popular digital town crier and comedian, Aiza Nwosu has been allegedly shot dead in Awka, Anambra state.
The deceased who doubles as DJ, MC and media personality was reportedly attacked by yet-to-be identified persons on Sunday.
Though the circumstances surrounding his attack were yet to be ascertained, sources however said he was shot dead by his attackers who trailed him from his home in a tinted glass vehicle.
Nwosu, a renowned personality in Awka, stood as Awka’s most trusted local advertiser as well as a radio programme presenter on local radio stations.
He could be described as a man-about-town, and always drove his Hilux truck around Awka, blaring loud music and some times advertised products or dished out announcements.
The deceased had survived death multiple times, including accidents that had claimed lives.
His popularity might not be unconnected to certain wiered lifestyle, including painting his house with black colour as well as his decision to be conveyed to the church in a tipper vehicle on his wedding day.
Meanwhile, police authorities in the state were yet to confirm any attack on him
as at the time of filing this report. But if confirmed, the death would be a huge loss to many who enjoyed his comic dispositions.
