The 8th Governing Council of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), under the leadership of the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Prof. Peter Azikiwe Onwualu, has announced two major appointments into the university’s top management.
The Council, at its 123rd Meeting, confirmed Dr. Nath Udezo as the Substantive Bursar of the University and appointed Dr. Uchechukwu Enweani as the University Librarian.
Dr. Udezo, who has served as Acting Bursar since 2022, now becomes the 3rd Substantive Bursar of the institution. His confirmation is seen as a recognition of his years of dedicated service and contributions to the financial administration of the university.
Similarly, the appointment of Dr. Enweani as University Librarian is described as a strategic move to strengthen the university’s academic support system, enhance knowledge management, and advance its vision of excellence in teaching, research and learning.
The announcement marks a significant milestone in the administrative leadership of the university.
