The Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, received the Council of Past Students’ Union Government (SUG) Presidents in his office on Monday, January 12, 2026.
The delegation was led by Comrade Hon. Barr. Patrick Afubera, who stated that the council’s primary objective is to support the university management in addressing students’ challenges and promoting a conducive academic environment. He also expressed appreciation to the Vice Chancellor for granting them an audience despite his tight schedule.
In his response, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie thanked the council for its visit and reaffirmed his commitment to repositioning UNIZIK and implementing positive reforms. He expressed his readiness to collaborate with the council whenever necessary to ensure the university continues to progress.
In closing remarks, Comrade Engr. Ogonna assured the Vice Chancellor of the council’s unwavering support for the success of his administration.
Other members present were Comrade Engr. Ogonna Nwokoye, Comrade Umejiburu Onyinye, Comrade Nwanbu Henry, and Comrade Ejikeme Izuchukwu Francis.
