Anambra State Police Command spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga has been awarded the ‘Humanitarian service award of the year’, at the just concluded Miles Magazine International Award Night.
The event held at Stanel dome Awka was organized in collaboration with Pineleaf Estate.
The recognition celebrates Ikenga’s humanitarian contributions and service, adding to the accolades received during his tenure as the Police Public Relations Officer of the Anambra State Police Command.
Speaking shortly after receiving the award, Ikenga appreciated Miles magazine international for the honour, saying the award came to him as surprise.
“I sincerely appreciate Miles magazine international for this special honour. I didn’t not know that my efforts and impact in the society were this much noticed,” he said.
The award ceremony attracted numerous dignitaries and distinguished guests from different sectors, including Dr Nelson Omenugha, Mr Chijioke Igwenu and Mazi Ejimofor Opara, among others.
