The German Consul General in Nigeria, Dr Bernd Munchow-pohl in company of a delegation from Germany has visited Anambra State to identify areas of partnership with the state government.
The team was on arrival, received by Governor Chukwuma Soludo represented by the Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism, Comrade Don Onyenji.
Governor Soludo while interacting with them, informed them about the numerous countries and companies that are coming to partner the state government right from the inception of his administration.
The team later paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of Onitsha, Obi Nnaemeka Achebe, who exposed them to various areas of opportunities in Anambra State and assured them of his blessings.
In his response, Dr Munchow-pohl expressed happiness for being in Anambra State to see areas of opportunities he can tap into.
He said he came with some German business people to familiarize themselves and explore more areas of interest and described Anambra State as a major business area in Nigeria.
The visit climaxed with the presentation of a book, authored by Obi Achebe to his German visitors.
