The exchange rate between the Naira and the US dollar has fallen beyond the N700/$1 threshold at the parallel market on Wednesday, the 27th of July, 2022.
The naira closed last week at N630/$1 and has remained within the N620/$1 band for week before the current low.
However, Nigerian entrepreneur and businessman who chairs the Cubana group, Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana has taken to social media to react on the current exchange rate.
Reacting to the current exchange rate, Obi Cubana posted on Facebook: “At the current exchange rate……. Dorime no go easy soon!”
This Facebook post from Obi Cubana reacting to the current exchange rate has attracted reactions from social media users, as some have claimed it would be easy for them and their loved ones, while some said the rich also cry.
