Rotary Club trains, empowers Onitsha petty traders with cash

Rotary Club of Onitsha Metropolis has empowered four traders of small scale businesses in Onitsha, Anambra State.

President, Rtn Oby Arinze during the training said the beneficiaries were provided with financial support and training.

She said the empowerment was a demonstration of the group’s passion for creating economic opportunities for the traders, improving their livelihoods and those of their families, as well as contributing to economic growth and development of the community.

She said, “October is Economic and Community Development Month in Rotary International, and the Rotary Club of Onitsha Metropolis is proud to be part of it.
