Loan Defaulter Paints His Dog As Tiger To Scare Away Palmpay Officers in Anambra

Reports say the man had taken a loan from Palmpay and failed to meet up with the payment plan. However, instead of owning up and attempting to renegotiate the terms of the loan, Samuel Okafor resorted to drastic measures to scare away the palmpay loan recovery officers.

He allegedly painted his dog, which he named in tiger’s colours to make it look like a real tiger.

Unfortunately for him, Palmpay officers saw through his ruse and reported the matter to the police. Anambra State police Command, in turn, launched an investigation and have been on the lookout for Samuel Okafor ever since.

The incident has generated mixed reactions on social media, with many condemning the man’s actions and urging him to own up and pay his debts. Others have expressed sympathy for him, arguing that the economic situation in the country is harsh and might have led him to make such a desperate move.

It is not yet clear what will happen to Samuel Okafor if he is caught by the police. However, it is hoped that his actions will serve as a warning to others who might be considering similar fraudulent activities. Palmpay has also urged its customers to always honour their loan agreements and avoid defaulting on payments.
