The traditional wedding between Amaka Obi, the daughter of Peter Obi, and Chukwuma Okeke was held in Agulu, Anambra State today, April 17, 2022, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.
The event was attended by prominent Nigerians from the public and private sectors.
Some of the prominent Nigerians present at the event are Dr Innocent Chukwuma,Obi Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana) Senator Abaribe, the former governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, Oseloka Obaze, Senator Chris Ngige,Senator Theodore Orji. Others are
Senator Uche Ekwunife, Senator Chief Victor Umeh, Chief Chris Ubah (Eselu Uga) former deputy governor of Anambra state, Dr Nkem okeke.
Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, had earlier declared his intention to run for president of Nigeria in 2023 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The former Vice Presidential candidate has been consulting with stakeholders across the country inline with his presidential bid.
According to reports, Obi also used the opportunity of his daughter’s traditional wedding to consult with dignitaries present at the event.
