This is to inform the University Community and the general public that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has appointed a new Pro-Chancellor for Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, following the sack of Greg Mbadiwe’s led Council.
According to a statement from the office of the President, the new Pro-Chancellor of UNIZIK is Barrister Monsur Olugbenga Kukoyi.
Barrister Kukoyi until his appointment as Pro-Chancellor of UNIZIK is a Member of the Governing Council of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
He hails from Ijebu Ode in Ogun State, South West Nigeria. A practising lawyer trained in the UK, he is businessman, entrepreneur and a philanthropist.
The new Pro-Chancellor has resumed at Nnamdi Azikiwe University with series of engagements aimed at repositioning the university for excellence.
We wish Barrister Monsur Olugbenga Kukoyi a successful tenure as Pro-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
